Bharat Swabhiman Trust built the Bharat Swabhiman app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Bharat Swabhiman Trust at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) about you through our app.

Our app requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission to provide its core functionality. This permission allows us to: Access, modify, and delete files on your device's external storage. Perform operations such as searching, organizing, editing, and backing up files.
Android devices running R or later, will require the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission in order to manage access in shared storage. All apps that target R and request broad access to shared storage (“All files access”) must successfully pass an appropriate access review prior to publishing. Apps allowed to use this permission must clearly prompt users to enable “All files access” for their app under “Special app access” settings.
We are using MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission in this application for store images, files and re-use images on as a Profile Picture.

a. Why we need it

I am using my local camera for capturing photos to set in my Profile.

b. How it is used

Allow “BST” to take pictures and access photos permission in my Login Screen. The user can use own camera to capture photos and store in local storage and user also use this photo to set Profile Picture and submit some another details.

a. Why we need it

We use the RECEIVE_SMS and READ_SMS permissions to automatically read the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your device during mobile number verification.

b. How it is used

This permission allows the app to detect and auto-fill the OTP to streamline the login process. The app does not read any personal or promotional messages.

c. User Control

You can deny or revoke SMS permissions from your device settings at any time. If SMS permission is not granted, you can still enter the OTP manually.

d. Data Security

We do not collect, store, or share the content of your messages. The OTP is processed locally on your device for verification only.
